one of those moments
“You know what?” he said, with heavy bags under his eyes, looking through his reading glasses.
“What?”
“You know, for that short hour and a half that I was teaching those young students, I completely forgot about all my problems. I forgot about everything and now I feel much better.”
“I know exactly what you mean.”
He grabbed his suitcase and gathered all the papers and headed towards the door.
“Have a nice weekend!” I said. He walked through the back door of the church and I organized the entire classroom for the next group of people coming in, the AA members.
